FRC Icon – World Tour
Well my bags are packed and I am ready to venture out on my globe-trotting trip. I am in search of great Icons from around the world. Get Set for the FRC Icon World Tour!!
It's a big World out there....
I have been writing this Icon series for a couple of months now and I have kept it strictly British up until this point. I can go on, and I probably will. But, I thought it was about time that I branched out into the big wide world and looked at some of the greats from far places. This is how I am intending to do it.
Each week I am going to visit a different Country. Starting by getting a ferry over to France and working my way from there through Europe, Russia, India, Asia, Australasia, South America, through the USA and back over the Atlantic, to my warm home. I have packed 2 pairs of pants so I am set (you know how us men are at changing our underwear).
But there is a catch. I am going to need help, that is where you lot come in. I am hoping to reach these places and un earth Icons that I have never heard of by getting my blogging friends to help and educate me on the way.
If you want to take part, pop me an email and I will reply with the questionnaire, I want to do this in the form of an Interview rather than the existing format . I have some of my friends that have signed up already, but I need more.
If you could then send them back to me and I will put them in order of a world wide trip….And post them up week after week
Who wants to help me find some of the (maybe) unsung heroes and Icons of their country?

HAHA Not really that organised, I am only just finishing the questions. Maybe calling it a ‘Questionnaire’ was a wee bit fancy…LOL
I can only visit countries I get help with. Its my rules. I may get stuck in Eastern europe for a while….

I great if scary proposition! I want to do something similar in terms of road trips across central Europe and an east to west road trip across America.

We were just talking last night (Lyn and I) about doing a similar road trip accross the states, NY to Seattle. But with two young sprogs, that ain’t ever going to happen.

I actually have a post on Serbian actresses in Hollywood
with pics and everything but I’ve never managed to publish it at my place. It’s kinda geographical as well

I’m in Cus. I’m not really interested in Northern Irish actors (apart from big Liam) but I definitely want to discover some Russian and Kazakhstani Icons as my Mrs is Russian and Kazakhstani. This should be interesting.

Wahoo! What a smashing idea, Custard… does that mean you would actually be traveling in person to visit each of us?
I wish I could help you about Indonesian icons, but I’m not that familiar w/ Indonesian cinema. I know, it’s ironic since my dad was in the movie business before I was born (he made 3 Indonesian feature films in the 60s). There is one actress who’s like the Meryl Streep of Indonesian films, she was even asked to be a jury at Cannes once. I can email you about her if you like.
