Now we all enjoy losing ourselves in a Movie. Whether its a swashbuckling full frontal action fest, or a heart warming romance, there is nothing better than sitting back popping some popcorn and becoming one with the story.

There is no place better than the Cinema to do this, right?

WRONG!!

These days the cinema with all its amazing sound systems and huge screens is just not a viable option for some of us these days.There are a number of reasons for this, I defy you to disagree:

1. You need a small mortgage to pay for the whole family to see a film, let alone buy the snacks required to get through it!
2. You have uncomfortable seats that will with out fail cripple you within 10 minutes
3. There will always be someone taller than you sitting directly in the seat in front.
4. It will be too hot or too cold. Never comfy warm
5. Undoubtedly you will need a bathroom break 30 minutes from the end.
6. People will only start talking AFTER the opening credits!

So why do we hold the Big Screen Experience in such high regard? I think I have figured it out.

Many moons ago the only real way to enjoy a film was at the cinema. At home the best we could hope for was a very

poor trakc and scan version of our favourite films on our flickery box like televisions!! The sound would come out of the tiny MONO speaker and we would think to ourselves, “I bet this was amazing at the pictures”.

These days this experience is still present. Technology has moved on but with out the proper knowledge we are left with an in accurate representation of our beloved movies.

But, with the proper guidance it can be very easy to get the same warm fuzzy feeling that we felt when our parents took us to the “Movies” in yesteryear.
