New Mirror Mirror Featurette – Armie Hammer on Prince Alcott.
With the first of this years Snow White films just around the corner, Studiocanal have released a new featurette all about Armie Hammer’s Prince Alcott
Visionary director Tarsem Singh (Immortals) rewrites fairy tale history as a wicked enchantress (Roberts) schemes and scrambles for control of a spirited orphan’s (Collins) throne and the attention of a charming prince (Hammer). When Snow White’s beauty wins the heart of the prince that she desperately pursues, the Queen banishes her to the forest, where a ravening man-eating beast hungrily awaits.
Rescued by a band of diminutive highway robbers, Snow White grows into an indomitable young woman determined to take back her realm from the treacherous Queen. With the support of her subjects, she roars into action in an epic battle that blends spectacle, magic and contemporary humor in Singh’s signature, jaw-dropping visual style.
The release of this feature is just around the corner, so to whet your appetite, or even just to try to convince you on the film, here is a new featurette from Studiocanal
Mirror Mirror is released in UK cinemas on 2nd April

HAHA That is a funny image I have in my head now!
Ahah, I’m imagining Dezzy doing exactly that
Armie Hammer sure is purtyyyyyyy
i really cannot wait to see this
I hope you enjoy it Candice, thanks for the comment
I have to say, this looks absolutely stupid. Even the parts that are supposed to be funny don’t even seem funny. I have no desire to see this and each video I see convinces me even more of that opinion.
This will be the typical Tarsem Singh movie: It will look great visually and have brilliant art direction. But beyond that, there will be nothing of any substance and the writing will be pretty much crap.
HAHA I kinda agree, but I am hoping that is will be good enough that my kids enjoy it!
thanks for the comment Josh
Oh, Joshy you’re such a hater potato
Both THE FALL and THE CELL had amazing scripts, imaginative and deeply cunning ones. THE FALL is one of the films with the biggest substance ever.
And MIRROR MIRROR wasn’t made for fanboys like you just like THE DARK KNIGHT wasn’t made for heartwarming films loving elf like me
I would hardly call the scripts for The Fall and The Cell brilliant.
The Fall was beautiful to look at quite imaginative visually, but on the whole it was a dull, fragmented and vapid piece of self-indulgence.
The Cell was nothing but a shallow and nonsensical, drug-induced rip-off of Silence of the Lambs, in which Tarsem is far more concerned with “pretty” imagery than bringing any actual depth to the movie or the characters.
And I’d hardly call myself a fanboy. I enjoy a very wide range of movies. I just don’t have patience for what’s probably sure to be a nonsensical, self-indulgent and poorly written adaptation of a story that’s been done much better before, that tries to skate by on fancy imagery….like all his other movies are.
