Stylish Blogger Award
My good friend Jack over at Jack L. Film Reviews has tagged me with the “Stylish Blogger Award”.
I want to say a big heart-felt Thank you Jack, sorry I didn’t see it sooner!! I have been a busy bunny.
What I have to do now is to share 7 facts about me and then Tag 7 other bloggers who I admire to keep the award moving.
Here are the Facts :-
- Although I have always worked in Sales and customer facing, I generally hate people. I would quite happily sit on my own at home watching film after film and not go out for days.
- Marion Cotillard, Uma Thurman and Salma Hayek are on my freebie list, meaning I am allowed to date them if I meet them.
- My Favourite Film watching food is fish finger sandwiches followed by Peanut M&M’s, Meal of the Gods I think you would agree.
- Much to the dismay of my loving wife, I am a constant fiddler. I weekly go through the settings in the Front Room Cinema, changing the sound outputs and picture settings, only to go all back to the start again at the end. I am a bit OCD I think.
- I cry way to much at Rom Com’s, Chick Flicks and anything to do with a father. Need to MAN UP!!
- I am ashamed to say I have never seen, Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, Citizen Kane (the whole way through) or Psycho.
- I play the guitar. I love blues and rock, Fave Guitarist was SRV (Stevie Ray Vaughn) and if we ever have a boy my wife has said I can name him Stevie Ray. This goes with our other children’s trailer park names, Pearly Lou and Daisy May. We are so classy lol
Ok then that is me done. That was really hard. I am very boring and am a struggling movie / tech blogger.
Here are some of the guys I really admire, I am sorry if you have been tagged already, I am a bit late to the party.
Emil @ Barabrafilm (mainly for introducing me to the “regular swedish meal time” videos)
So its over to you all now, 7 facts then pass it on. I am sorry if you have been tagged already. I am new around here.

Ha, I've never seen Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, Citizen Kane either, and I get the 'hate' for people. They're an annoying bunch.
hehe I knew I wasn't alone in my hatred for people. LOL
Thanks Moth
interestingly i too work in sales/customer facing and I also hate people. I would much rather sit on my own, with a good bottle of red and a plate of cheese listening to music or watching a film.
I think it must go with the trade. Having to deal with people all the time kind of makes you hate them for their faults. I may buy a shed in the forest and sit there growing a beard.
Hey thanks for tagging me, Custard. I love that you are a crier and willing to admit it. Hey, nothing wrong with that, who says masculine man can't have emotion? I haven't seen Casablanca or Citizen Kane either, but GWTW is one of my faves because it's one of the first Hollywood movies I saw when I was little. My mom actually had to translate much of it as I didn't know English then.
Thanks Ruth,
Seriously my crying gets annoying. I do it all the time when any emotion is on the screen, even at Jeremy Kyle (UK Jerry Springer rip off).
I look forward to 7 more facts from your good self
C
I haven't seen Casablanca or Gone with The Wind either lol
I don't particularly want to though, those Hollywood classics aren't really my kind of thing.
I don't think I've ever really cried while watching a film, but I don't know if that's a good thing, maybe I'm to coldhearted
Nice to know a few random facts about you.
You're definitely doing well as a blogger, I mean just look at the number of followers you have on Twitter, way more than me.
You should have a good cry Jack, its good to let it out and be in touch with your feminine side.
Thanks for the kind words. Are we even following eachother on the twitter?
C
I'm following you on Twitter, don't know if your following me though…
Anyway, I rarely tweet.
I checked I am following you right back!!
I have noticed the scarcity of your tweetings.
C
Thanks man!
Only seen Gone with the Wind once, while on the subject, and personally it bored me to tears. Love Casablanca though. Citizen Kane is a good watch, but been parodied so much down the years you'll undoubtedly know everything about it before seeing it anyway.
Would urge you to watch Psycho as soon as possible though. Really is a genuinely timeless piece of film-making. But I'm a bit of a Hitchcock fanboy, Rear Window is probably in my top 5 films of all time
I think I saw a Simpsons episode about Mr Burns that leaned heavily on Citizen Kane.
The main reason I haven't seen it is because it is the stereotypical "Best Film Ever" with filmies. I am just being awkward and stubborn.
I will have to try and see Psycho.
I look forward to seeing your 7 random facts Andrew.

1. Ahaha I think you should "Because of" instead of "Although". Working in customer service is the best way to start hating people real quick!
6. I haven't seen Psycho of those 4. Need to get on those man
LOL Castor, should definitely be Because of!! hehehe
I am a shocker when it comes to old film.
Hey, speaking of stylin'… that's a cool new banner you got up there Custard. You should use more of Lynette's work more often
I am going to try Ruth thats a promise.
I just need to find a more flexible Theme to work with. This one won't allow me to change the actual colours. Very annoying.
C
haha! Congratulations! Cinema with Style! LOVE IT!
LOL. I loved your “freebie list”
