Tech Tuesday – SAMSUNG DELIVERS LARGER THAN LIFE EXPERIENCE WITH LAUNCH OF 75 INCH ES9000 LED SMART TV
The ES9000 encases best-in-class performance in a luxurious rose-gold coloured design to create the ultimate extra large screen premium TV
Samsung Electronics Co. UK Ltd, the UK’s number one TV brand with the most awarded TV range1, today launches its 75-inch ES9000 LED Smart TV. The best-in-class ES9000 meets the rising market demand for larger television screens, and delivers a unique design concept with a beautiful rose-gold coloured finish. As part of the extra-large screen premium TV lineup, the introduction of the ES9000 positions Samsung as the global TV market leader for the seventh consecutive year.
“When consumers buy a premium TV, they should not have to make any compromises on quality, functionality, features and sophisticated design,” said Steve Mitchell, General Manager – Marketing, TV Division, Samsung UK. “The ES9000 was designed with these high expectations in mind making it simply beyond comparison.”
Adding to the ES9000’s extra large screen size, the set’s unique and timeless design concept includes a super-slim 7.9 millimeter curved bezel with no visible seams, cleanly complementing the TV’s square stand. Additionally, the TV’s built-in camera is hidden within the top of the bezel, rendering it invisible when not in use. Finally, the application of a luxurious rose-gold coloured finish to the entire body of the set makes it one of the most unique and attractive Smart TVs to date.
The ES9000 also includes the complete suite of Samsung’s Smart TV features—Smart Interaction, Smart Content and Smart Evolution that were introduced with Samsung’s flagship Smart TVs earlier this year. These features enable users to control and interact with their TVs in a more intuitive way; choose from a broader range of premium and signature content that can be shared across multiple devices; and access the latest hardware and software features to keep your Smart TV new again.
In addition, the ES9000 also features Sound Share, which automatically, wirelessly connects TV audio to Samsung’s Series 6 and Series 7 Wireless Audio with Dock Systems. Furthermore, the ES9000 offers a faster and more seamless Smart TV experience to fit our busy lifestyle, through the dual-core processor that allows consumers to download and use multiple apps while browsing the Web.
The ES9000’s picture quality matches this enhanced Smart TV experience, utilising Samsung’s Micro Dimming Ultimate and Precision Black technology to deliver richer, more optimised colour and detail; higher contrast ratios; deeper black levels; and increased brightness—supporting larger screen sizes and longer viewing distances.
In addition to the ES9000, the 65 inch ES8000 also launches today. As with Samsung’s smaller ES8000 models, the 65 inch ES8000 delivers clearer images in both 2D and 3D, while its Micro Dimming Ultimate feature allow viewers to enjoy richer colours and higher contrast ratios.

Oh YEAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!
Please send me one, will you Scott?
Sure Rodney, you can have my spare one…
If you’re sending Rodney one may as well put one in the post for me too? It would compliment my new en suite!
HAHAH you and your en suite… so posh!!
…just wiping the saliva creeping down my chin! “Christmas” list or “wish” list – dammit, the latter!
LOL I know exactly how you feel!!
Wow. I would almost give up my projector for that.
Me too BT, I am very tempted.
Sounds very cool but I’m projector guy so it doesn’t really impress me as much. I’m still waiting for the day when Panasonic or Epson will come out with a 4K projector for the rest of us who can’t afford a $80,000 to $100,000 machine.
The way technology is going, that shouldn’t be too long, Ted!
I am with you, but I would give up my projector in a shot if I got enough money for one of these…
I am falling out of love with EPSON
Looks great, you could also use it to pretend you have redecorated one of your walls, a different type of wallpaper each day
HAHAHA I know right?
it’s quite the beast of a tv to be sure. does it have gesture control Scott? The ES8000 and ES7500 did and it’s pretty neat. But we have yet to get the 9000 in my store. Just curious. Thanks for posting about this. I like Samsung quite a bit…but I’m still a Panasonic Plasma fan
The main fact that customers only prefer the Samsung’s smart window is that it consumes the minimal power consumption,it only consumes 10% of electricity. The rest of the 90% of electricity it consumes from sunlight or the tube light or any external light source. It is very cost effective to use, so only TapTL sells it online to their customers.
Incredibly sexy, looks like films would be floating in the air!
